‘Newham University Hospital commissioned Sue to design and produce glass for the viewing area in the bereavement suite and a large glass feature for the main corridor. We found Sue’s skill and expertise to be exemplary and the quality of the work produced is outstanding and has received much praise by all visitors to the areas. Sue was always willing to listen to the ideas of the project team and adapted to fit the needs of the client. The project team at Newham University Hospital enjoyed working with Sue and would not hesitate in recommending her services or indeed using her services again’

‘We commissioned Sue to design two coloured glass windows for our new viewing room, where people come to say goodbye to those who have died at our Hospice.
Sue really understood the ambience we were aiming to create and her clever use of light and colour created stunning results…. In the finished spaces we have displayed the sketches and samples to tell the story of how we came to create this wonderful work of beauty.
We would highly recommend Sue. She works hard to fully take on board the client brief and her work is visually stunning. She kept us in touch with progress during the all stages of the design and manufacture process and her work has been complimented by those who have used the space’...

‘It’s still very difficult to put into words how I feel about the glass panels you made for me. They are everything I imagined but so much more…it is truly breathtaking. Everytime I look at them, they are different and have a mesmerising quality especially when the light catches. It makes me smile..you are so talented and I just wanted to say thankyou’

‘We found the commission process quite intricate..... It was really good to discuss ideas and then find them taking shape in the sketches. We had the notion of some themes from Blake`s work, .. the tree of life, references to the Welsh landscape, and a sunburst. These are clearly there in the final piece, rippling in the glass - but there are also unexpected little touches Sue tried out… The process of enjoying it and marvelling at it goes on’.

‘Sue designed and created ten beautiful glass panels for our doors; we now have a stunning piece of art in our house. She consulted us at every stage of the process and made mock ups to ensure we were happy. It was a pleasure to work with such a knowledgeable and talented artist who took time to listen to what we had in mind, to add her own ideas and to make it all a reality’.

I wanted to brighten up my hallway by installing coloured glass panels in my front door and side window. Any tentativeness that I might initially have had about the project was soon swept away..Sue was a complete joy to work with. She was so easy to talk to, very hands on and I felt thoroughly involved in the whole process. Sue was enthusiastic, professional and efficient, always keeping to our agreed schedule, bringing glass samples for me to view and sending sketch designs. I loved the way that Sue kept me involved in all the stages and encouraged me to contribute throughout.
The glass is glorious...everyday I get a buzz from looking at my glass panels. It is such a pleasure to watch the colours change according the different light….at night my hallway is a beacon! I couldn’t have asked for more.’
